Kyiv's Pechersk District Court has stopped proceedings on banning the use of an allegedly unfair advertisement concerning Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko, a source in the court told Interfax-Ukraine.
“The decision was taken at the initiative of the Batkivschyna party, the representatives of which recalled the corresponding appeal after a statement by Vice Speaker Mykola Tomenko,” the source said.
Thus, the proceedings on this case have been stopped in full.
Earlier, Tomenko said the BYT had taken a decision to revoke from Kyiv Pechersk District Court an appeal on banning the use of an allegedly unfair advertisement concerning Tymoshenko.
