Kyiv police have identified the person who made an attempt on the life of Filia Zhebrovska, the director of the large Ukrainian pharmaceutical enterprise Farmal, and put him on the wanted list.
“The person was identified and put on the wanted list. Measures are currently being taken to find him,” the head of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry’s main office in Kyiv, Vitaliy Yarema, told reporters on Tuesday.
He also said that “only technical work to arrest the suspect” remained in the investigation of the case.
As reported, the attempt on Zhebrovska’s life was made at about 0730 on June 9 near her house in Podilsky district in Kyiv. She was shot twice, and afterwards taken to hospital. Her condition is currently satisfactory.
The law enforcement authorities are working on a number of leads, some of which are connected to Zhebrovska’s official duties. The law enforcement authorities have opened a criminal case on attempted murder.
In 2008, Farmak saw its net income rise by 32.9% year-on-year, to 524.851 million, while its total profit in 2008 grew by 32.9%, to UAH 246.79 million.
Earlier Farmak reported on its financial results for 2008, according to which its net loss for the period was UAH 71.857 million, and in 2007 its net profit was UAH 39.427 million.
