Ukrainian Education Minister Ivan Vakarchuk's statement that Deputy Chief of the Security Service of Ukraine Andriy Kyslynsky has no diploma is evidence of the minister's loyalty to Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, Kyslynsky has said.

“The minister has passed a test of loyalty to the prime minister. I
think this will help Mr. Vakarchuk in his future career,” he said in an
interview with the Ukrayinska Pravda Web publication.

“The Education Ministry unofficially confirmed to me on Friday that
my diploma had been registered in the ministry’s database,” Kyslynsky
said.

The Ukrainian Education Ministry’s working group came to the
conclusion that Kyslynsky had not studied at Kyiv Taras Shevchenko
National University in 1994-2000 and had not received a respective
diploma. Vakarchuk made this comment on Monday.

The group was set up at Tymoshenko’s request.
