MOSCOW - Revenue of joint-stock company Lipetsk Roshen Factory, a subsidiary of Roshen owned by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko decreased by 24.9% in 2015, to 1.527 billion Russian rubles from 2.033 billion rubles in 2014.

Gross loss totaled 24.77 million rubles after gross profit of Hr 20.6 million rubles seen in 2014, the company said in a report.

Operating loss reached 31.02 million rubles compared to operating profit of 12.14 million rubles a year ago.Other revenue saw almost six-fold rise, to 227.2 million rubles and other expenditure halved to 199.7 million rubles.

Net loss decreased to 62.68 million rubles from 407.27 million rubles in 2014.Roshen Corporation includes confectionery factories in Kyiv, Kremenchuk and Vinnytsia, and the dairy producer Bershadmoloko. It also runs confectionary facilities in Klaipeda (Lithuania), Lipetsk (Russia), and Bonbonetti Choco (Hungary).

Poroshenko in January 2016 stated he has signed a contract this year, according to which he transferred his stake in Roshen Corporation to an independent ‘blind’ trust.
