The congress of the People’s Party will decide on nominating its candidate for Ukraine’s presidency on October 21, said Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn, who leads the party.
“We will hold the party’s congress on October 21 to decide on this
matter,” he said on Channel Five, when asked when he intends to put
forward his candidacy for this post.
The speaker stressed that his party will submit money collateral for his participation
The People’s Party counts more than 400,000 members, Lytvyn said.
