You're reading: Lytvyn proposes Rada work every day this week to complete discussion of all points on agenda

Kyiv, Dec. 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukraine's parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, could extend its plenary session until all of the tasks on its agenda are completed, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn said at a conciliatory council on Monday.

BYuT faction Leader Ivan Kyrylenko supported the initiative of the speaker.

“Until we complete all of the daily agendas, we will not leave the session hall,” Kyrylenko said.

At the beginning of the conciliatory council, Lytvyn said that the weekly agenda includes around 50 points, the majority of them are draft laws on overcoming of the consequences of the financial crisis.

According to the speaker, nine issues are to be discussed on Tuesday, 17 on Wednesday, 20 on Thursday and five on Friday.
