Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn has said that it is unwise to take a decision on the work of MPs in constituencies during the presidential election campaign.

He made the comment live on Era Radio late on Tuesday, while commenting on the initiative of his deputy Mykola Tomenko who registered a bill changing the parliament’s schedule so that MPs work with voters during the presidential election campaign.

“With what will MPs come to constituencies? What will they tell people? People don’t need MPs, they need decisions being taken by MPs,” Lytvyn said.
