Spanish Barcelona and Shakhtar Donetsk have finally reached an agreement about buying Ukrainian defender Dmytro Chyhrynsky for EUR 25 million.
The deal will be formalized after the UEFA Super Cup final between
the two sides on Friday. Barcelona requested Shakhtar Donetsk not to
field Chyhrynsky in the Friday game in Monaco, as it may create extreme
tension, according to Goal.com.
The 22-year-old Ukrainian player will travel to Barcelona on
Saturday to be presented to fans and sign his contract. In the Spanish
club Chyhrynsky will be earning EUR 1.2 million in contrast to EUR 3
million he was paid in Shakhtar.
