The Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered a draft law on stricter penalties for rape and sexual offenses against children.
MP Volodymyr Sivkovcyh, first deputy head of the parliament’s
committee for law-enforcement activity, is one of the authors of the
draft law, the press service of the MP reported.
The draft law foresees the introduction of a procedure of chemical
(pharmacological) castration of any person who commits rape or the
sexual abuse of children.
