Kyiv Mayor Leonid Chernovetsky has signed an order for the development and construction of a multifunctional sports complex at 60, Alma-Atynska Street in Kyiv, according to a press release of the Kyiv City State Administration.
The customer of construction is the main department of physical culture and sports at Kyiv City State Administration.
According to Vitaliy Zhuravsky, the deputy head of Kyiv City State
Administration, the complex will include a hockey field with 1,200
seats, a football field with artificial turf with 1,100 seats, a
50-meter swimming pool with 500 seats, and training gyms.
The complex is to be completed in 2010-2011.
