Natural gas consumption in Ukraine in Q4, 2009 and in Q1, 2010 is projected at 37.7 billion cubic meters.
An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has reported that the deputy board chairman of National JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy, Yaroslav Marchuk, gave the information at a meeting at Ukraine’s Fuel and Energy Ministry on Thursday.
He said that over the period around eight billion cubic meters of gas would be pumped from the country’s underground gas storage facilities.
Marchuk said that at present 26.36 billion cubic meters of gas are stored in the Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities.
