HONG KONG - The fact Justin Trudeau wasn't invited to a meeting with American, French and German leaders about Ukraine at the G20 wasn't a snub, says the prime minister's former international affairs adviser.

“France and Germany and the United States are front and centre on the international diplomacy relating to Ukraine. … They are central in the discussion of the Minsk agreement,” said Roland Paris, who resumes his job teaching at the University of Ottawa this week after advising the prime minister during his early days in office.
