You're reading: Nearly 170 Ukrainian soldiers staying at Defense Ministry’s hospitals, 24 treated abroad

As of Aug. 14 morning, a total of 166 servicemen of the armed forces of Ukraine are undergoing treatment in Ukrainian medical institutions, head of the communications and press department of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine Oksana Havryliuk has said.

“To date, 166 servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and three servicemen of other military formations are undergoing treatment in medical institutions of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine,” she said at a briefing in Kyiv on Aug. 14.

Havryliuk added that 24 Ukrainian soldiers were receiving medical treatment abroad.

A total of 147 military are undergoing various rehabilitation programs. Since the beginning of 2015, a total of 1,089 servicemen have gone through the rehabilitation program.
