Kyiv, January 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense decisions will be taken by the faction's MPs and it "will be not under the ownership of the president", New Faction Leader Mykola Martynenko said at a briefing on Friday.
Asked what the position of the faction would be under his leadership, given that earlier the faction was described as a presidential political force, Martynenko said: “The faction was, remains and will be a Ukrainian one. It will not be under the ownership of the president.”
According to Martynenko, the faction’s decisions will be taken by MPs personally.
He said, that the one of his core issues at the new post will be consolidation of the faction’s work and the coalition “for the effective work of the government, parliament and improving of the situation in the country.”
