Nine companies have submitted applications to participate in a tender to develop a project for the reconstruction of the existing terminal and the construction a new one at Kyiv's Zhuliany International Airport, the airport has told Interfax-Ukraine.
The tender proposals were disclosed on September 10. The tender winner will be selected within a month.
As reported, in July the airport cancelled a tender announced on
June 22 to choose the developers of a project for the reconstruction of
a passenger terminal and the construction of a new one, but in August
it announced the tender again.
Kyiv Zhuliany International Airport is located on an area of 265
hectares. The airport has one runway with a length of 2,310 meters and
a width of 49 meters, and a terminal with the capacity to handle 180
passengers an hour.
