Central heating will be switched on Oct. 7, a city official said. Anatoliy Holubchenko, first deputy head of the city administration said Kyiv residents are starting to complain that their apartments have become too cold after the weather turned a few days ago.
Kyivenergo, the supplier of central heating, said, however, that those utility companies that have failed to pay their bills in full will not get the heat, according to Segodnya newspaper.
