OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut will make a working visit to Ukraine on September 16, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has said.
“The goal of his visit is the signing of a contract for the
implementation of the first stage of the OSCE-Ukraine project on the
disposal of melange liquid rocket fuel,” ministry spokesman Vasyl
Kyrylych said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
He said that the OSCE secretary general would also meet the
ministry’s leadership and discuss cooperation between Ukraine and the
OSCE. Kyrylych said that the secretary general is scheduled to discuss
the activity of the OSCE project coordinator in Ukraine and confirm an
invitation for the OSCE to participate in the monitoring of the
presidential election in Ukraine in January 2010.
