A miner has died as a result of a rockslide at a coalmine named after Melnykov at Lysychansk, Luhansk region.
The accident took place at a depth of 885 meters on Thursday night, the Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry reported.
The miner’s body was lifted to the surface.
A total of 50 miners have been killed in Ukraine over the year so far.
