A policeman from western Ukraine was found dead in the city of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk Oblast, the regional prosecutor's office is investigating his murder.
“A policeman was found dead with a gunshot wound in his heart at around 9.30 a.m. on Aug. 6 at the barracks in the city of Kramatorsk. The investigators found that a policeman from the Grifon security service of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry’s department in the Lviv Oblast was killed,” the press service of the prosecutor’s office in the Donetsk Oblast said.
A service weapon from which the shot was most likely fired was found near the dead body.
The policeman came to the Donetsk Oblast to participate in the anti-terrorist operation.
