Kyiv and Lviv have been named the most attractive cities for tourists in Ukraine, according to the results of a poll conducted by the Rating sociological group from August 2 until August 15.
Two thirds of polled Ukrainians (64.2%) named Kyiv as the most
attractive city for tourists, almost half of the polled (48.6%) named
Lviv, and over one third (38%) named Odesa. The remaining large cities
of Ukraine got less than 10% of the votes.
Kyiv has been recognized the best city for tourists in every region
of Ukraine, except for the southern one where Odesa was named the best
city.
Lviv was highly estimated in the western, central, northern and
southern regions of Ukraine, Odesa in the southern region and Donbass,
Kharkiv only in the eastern region, and Donetsk only in Donbass.
Lviv and Kyiv were estimated by polled Ukrainians, and Odesa and Kharkiv by polled Russian.
