You're reading: Poll: Yatseniuk front-runner of presidential election’s advertising campaign

The Front for Change initiative leader Arseniy Yatseniuk is a front-runner of the presidential election advertising campaign, according to a public opinion poll presented by R&BGroup sociologist Yevhen Kopatko at a press conference in Kyiv.

A total of 3,011 residents of 24 regions of Ukraine were questioned
for the poll held by R&BGroup experts on August 4-14. The poll’s
margin error does not exceed 2%.

“The election campaign has in fact gone underway… The absolute
favorite of the advertising campaign is Yatseniuk, as 35.3% of
Ukrainians saw his advertising all over the country,” Kopatko said.

At the same time, only 6% of Ukrainians saw the advertising of Prime
Minister Yulia Tymoshenko’s advertising, 4.6% are aware of Party of
Region Viktor Yanukovych’s billboards, slightly more than 2% about
banker and presidential hopeful Serhiy Tihipko’s advertising.

Besides, the Ukrainians noticed the advertising of Verkhovna Rada
Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn, Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko, leader
of the Popular Rukh of Ukraine Borys Tarasiuk and Interior Minister
Yuriy Lutsenko. However, their advertising is less widespread.
