Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has asked chairman of the international anti-corruption network Transparency International Jose Ugaz to help recover the assets, which were withdrawn from Ukraine by former senior officials of the regime of ex-president Viktor Yanukovych.

“The president called on the head of Transparency International to assist to return that which was stolen by the Yanukovych regime from Ukraine,” the Ukrainian president’s press service said after the meeting.
