You're reading: Poroshenko condemns Paris attack, claims Ukraine has “zero tolerance towards terrorism”

Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko has offered his condolences over the terrorist attack in Paris. 

“My condolences to the victims’ families and the whole people of France. I condemn this cruel attack on journalists in Paris,” Poroshenko wrote on Twitter.

The head of state stressed: “Ukraine has always had, has and will have zero tolerance towards terrorism and we are united with the whole world in fighting terrorism.”

On Wednesday morning gunmen opened fire at the office building of the satirical weekly magazine Charlie Hebdo in central Paris. According to the latest figures, the death toll has risen to 12. The attackers managed to escape.
