Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said once again that he will not allow Ukraine to stop being a unitary state.

“I am stressing particularly once again that Ukraine is, was, and a hundred percent will be a unitary state, no matter how our enemies would like to change this unitary system. We will never agree to this,” Poroshenko said at a meeting of the Regional Development Council in Kyiv on Sept. 9.
