Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in his bill No. 2471 on amendments to the law on the State Service of Ukraine has proposed increasing the number of employees of the State Border Services from 50,000 to 53,000.
“The total number of employees of the State Border Service of Ukraine makes 53,000 people, including 45,000 servicemen,” reads the document.
At the moment, the staff of the State Border Service totals 50,000, including 42,000 servicemen.
