Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko has denied information that Ukraine's foreign state debt allegedly increases requirements set in the national budget three times, she said on the ICTV channel late on Friday.

“Information that Ukraine have allegedly borrowed three times more that it is foreseen in the budget is untrue,” she said.

As reported, the ceiling size of state debt as of December 31, 2009
is set at UAH 192.95 billion. In one of the preliminary draft laws on
the national budget for 2010 the Finance Ministry proposed to set the
ceiling size for state debt for late 2010 at UAH 348,69 billion.

In 2010, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) plans to issue
another SDR 2.5 billion (around $3.9 billion according to the present
exchange rate) to Ukraine.
