Russia is receiving “signals” from Ukraine that Kiev has no funds to pay for ongoing Russian gas supplies, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said Monday at a meeting of the government’s presidium. “We are constantly receiving signals from our Ukrainian partners that they don’t have anything to pay with,” he said. Ukraine made the latest payment on June 7 and is scheduled to make the next one on July 7, Putin said.
