The Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) has received a request from the Russian Prosecutor's Office Investigative Committee to help investigate the possible involvement of Ukrainian citizens in the Caucasus conflict and submitted the document for consideration by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the PGO press service said on Tuesday.
“The Prosecutor General’s Office has received a request from the
investigative committee of the Russian Prosecutor’s Office and
submitted it for consideration by the SBU, because issues of this kind
fall under the competence of the SBU,” the press service said.
The Investigative Committee said on Monday that investigations into
the 2008 conflict had revealed that Ukrainian servicemen and at least
200 members of the nationalist Ukrainian National Assembly-Ukrainian
