Protesters to picket Presidential Administration at 10:00 a.m. on Jan. 17

A poster released by leaders of protest against adoption of the tax code calls on supporters to picket the Presidential Administration on Jan. 17.

The leaders of protests last fall against adoption of a new tax code on Jan. 17 will picket the Presidential Administration to protest against alleged harrassment by law-enforcement authorities.

Over a half-dozen activists who participated in the demonstrations have been questioned by police, who identified individuals with a history of problems with the law who took part in the protests. Two of them have been arrested.

Picket organizers are demanding law-enforcement agencies close criminal investigations against activists.
