The Ukrainian Nationalist Party in western Ukraine has started collecting signatures for a petition to have the remains of Stepan Bandera transferred from Germany to Ukraine, RFE/RL's Ukrainian Service reports. The party intends to send the petition to the president, prime minister, and parliament. Bandera was one of the leaders of Ukrainian national movement in the western Galicia region. He headed the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN).
