The Regions Party has demanded that Ukrainian Labor and Social Policy Minister Liudmyla Denisova immediately name the owners of the enterprises that, as she says, do not pay wages.
“We’ll respond immediately if there are Regions Party members among
the owners of these enterprises,” the party’s press service reported on
Tuesday.
“We are confident that the wage is being paid on time and in full at
all of the enterprises owned by Regions Party members,” reads the
statement.
The Regions Party described Denisova’s statements as an attempt to
discredit entrepreneurs representing the Regions Party and burden them
with the problems for which the current government is to blame.
Denisova said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday: “I propose
that the Regions Party and all of its employers pay all of the debts to
their employees.”
She said that entrepreneurs representing the Regions Party owed around UAH 1 billion to their employees.
