Militants opened fire at least 11 times as a provocative act against the Ukrainian army's positions in the operation area in Donbas on Nov. 12 evening and overnight into Nov. 13, the operation headquarters' press center has reported.

“In the Donetsk region, they [militants] fired grenade launchers, large-caliber submachine guns and small arms at Krasnohorivka four times, Pisky three times, Opytne two times, as well as at Novoselivka-2,” the press center said on its Facebook account on Nov. 13.

“The locality of Krasnohorivka came under mortar fire” at around 2:00 a.m., it said.

An armed clash was reported in the village of Zaitseve, near the city of Artemivsk, at around 2:00 a.m., the press center said.

In a separate development, small arms were fired in the direction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ positions in the town of Mayorsk, it added.
