Kyiv will host a summit on the settlement of the Ukrainian-Russian gas conflict on Friday, a well-informed source in the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has told Interfax-Ukraine.
“Today, Kyiv will host a gas summit involving the presidents and prime ministers of the countries interested in the settlement of the gas conflict,” the source said.
The source said that Lithuania and Poland had already confirmed their participation, and an answer is expected from a number of other countries. In particular, the Slovak president and the Moldovan prime minister have preliminarily confirmed their participation in the summit.
