Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn has said that the time given to Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko to sign or reject laws on the presidential election and the financing of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship expires on September 4, 2009.
He was speaking at a meeting of the parliament’s conciliatory council on Monday.
Lytvyn recalled that the Verkhovna Rada had overridden a
presidential veto of the abovementioned laws at an emergency meeting on
August 21.
