Ukrainian Journal quoted Mr Dmytro Parfemenko, an acting head of the State Property Fund, as saying the government plans to sell controlling stakes in all 14 power distributing companies before the end of the year. The plans, which represent a mush-faster sell off compared with original plans, suggest that the government is under pressure to raise cash quickly even if that means selling assets cheap.
