The overwhelming majority of Ukrainians have said they are ready to participate in the vote in the presidential elections, according to a public opinion poll conducted by the FOM Ukraine Company September 26 through October 4, 2009.
FOM Ukraine Director General Oleksandr Bukhalov announced the
results of the study at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on
Monday.
A total of 85.1% of respondents said they would participate in the
vote, 9.4% said they would not vote, and 5.5% said they were undecided.
Some 26.8% said they were ready to vote for Regions Party leader
Viktor Yanukovych, 15.6% for Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, and 9.3%
for the leader of the Front for Change NGO, Arseniy Yatseniuk.
