Ukrainian opposition leader Victor Yanukovych looks to have achieved a remarkable comeback in Sunday's election as official results put him ahead of his bitter rival, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
Yanukovych, denied victory in a 2004 rigged election by Tymoshenko-led protests, led the prime minister 4-5 percent, according to exit polls.
The following are the latest results issued by the Central Election Commission.
Yanukovych 52.17
Tymoshenko 42.60
