A Jewish cultural center, including a Holocaust museum, was dedicated in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine.
The Menorah Jewish Community Center, a
seven-tower, 20-story center and museum complex, was dedicated Tuesday
in a ceremony. It will open to the public on Oct. 21.
The complex, which also includes an Institute
for Jewish Culture as well as a gallery with photographs of 40 major
synagogues in Dnepropetrovsk before the Nazis took power, cost an
estimated $60 million to build.
