Sergiy Tigipko, a possible candidate for the post of Ukraine's president, has praised the results of talks held between U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Russia Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“It’s good for us that the United States and Russia cooperate, rather than compete in a wide range of issues. This keeps Ukraine from taking an unenviable role of the theater of a political and diplomatic war,” his press service quoted him as saying on Wednesday, while commenting on the results of talks held between Clinton and Lavrov in Moscow.
“Russia and America clearly demonstrate their political will so as not to quarrel, however, [the amount of] disagreements between them is not smaller than a year ago. All depends on whether the emphasis is put on positive or negative things,” Tigipko said.
