Ukraine's transit sector is of great interest for domestic and foreign investors, according to Serhiy Tihipko, a well-known Ukrainian banker who has announced his plans to run for the presidency.
He made the comment at an extended meeting of the Expert Council of
Serhiy Tihipko entitled “Ukraine’s Transit Potential” in Odesa on
Tuesday, his press service reported.
“We see that Russians and European investors are interested [in
Ukraine’s transit potential]. It’s a very interesting subject from the
economic point of view. Transit is a good economic impetus for
Ukraine,” Tihipko said.
