Ukraine's education system is working to a great extent on foreign employers, according to Serhiy Tihipko, who has recently announced his plans to run for the presidency.
“I know many situations in which talented students on their third and fourth years of study are invited to finish their education abroad and then are offered jobs there. The nation’s brain drain of intellectuals is fleeing,” his press service quoted him as saying on Friday.
Tihipko said that over 5,000 doctors and masters of science had left Ukraine during the years of its independence.
