Odesa, September 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine's Transport and Communications Ministry as of the middle of September cancelled almost one third of agreements on joint activities with participation of its companies in the transport sphere, First Deputy Transport Minister Vasyl Shevchenko has told Interfax-Ukraine.

“Fourteen out of 44 agreements were cancelled, 17
agreements are in courts, and the rest of agreements are being
studied,” he said.

Shevchenko said that the agreements were cancelled
due to inexpediency of activities and the key criterion for their
assessment is work efficiency – profits.

“If joint activities don’t bring profits, we analyze the agreements and don’t cancel them,” he said.
