You're reading: Trend: Hijackers of Kharkiv-Istanbul plane demand to move it towards Sochi

 A signal about hijacking has been received from a Turkish aircraft owned by Pegasus Airlines and conducting flight from Ukrainian city of Kharkiv to Istanbul, according to Turkish newspaper Sabah.

The hijackers of the plane said that they have a bomb and that they want to move the plane to Russian city of Sochi, which hosts Winter Olympics, the newspaper said.

According to the latest information, the plane landed at the Sabiha Gokcen International Airport.
