WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Meet the mascots for Euro 2012: identical twin brothers in the football kits of Poland and Ukraine, with shocks of hair in the colors of their nations' flags.

UEFA presented the mascots on Tuesday but is still seeking names for the twins. It is inviting the public to submit suggestions — names will be chosen by Dec. 15.

One of the grinning mascots is decked out in Poland’s red and white national colors and the other in Ukraine’s blue and yellow.

The twins are yet unnamed.

"Citizens of Ukraine and Poland are to choose names for the mascots. A special contest will be held for this," reads the message.

UEFA has proposed names for the twins. It is offered to give the mascots two of the following names: Slavek and Slavko, Siemko and Strimko, or Klemek and Ladko (Polish and Ukrainian names respectively). Everyone can vote until Dec. 3 either on the website www.uefa.com, or at McDonald’s restaurants in the cities that are to host the tournament. The results will be announced on Dec. 4.

The Warner Bros Company studio designed the mascots. The unveiling ceremony took place at the National Theatre in Warsaw with participation of Executive Director of UEFA Events SA David Taylor and the tournament director Martin Kallen.

The twins will be also officially presented in Lviv on Nov. 20.

Four cities in Poland and four in Ukraine are to host the championships. The tournament is to open in Warsaw and the final match is to be held in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital.
