The Ukrainian Interior Ministry's branch for Donetsk says that two civilians sustained fragmentation wounds and a house was damaged by a shell when militants opened fire on the town of Avdiyivka in Donetsk Oblast.
“The police have been alerted that in Avdiyivka two men, born in 1969 and 1971, sustained fragmentation wounds as a result of shelling. The injured persons were admitted to the town’s hospital,” it said.
The press service also reported that a shell directly hit a house in Avdiyivka.
Reports on injuries and destruction are being verified.
