ANKARA, Turkey - An official says two people are missing after a firefighting helicopter crashed into a reservoir in southwestern Turkey.

Gov. Ahmet Altiparmak says the helicopter, with five people on board, crashed on Thursday while collecting water to extinguish a wildfire that has been raging near the Aegean coastal town of Milas.

Altiparmak says divers were dispatched to the area to search for the missing two people. The three other people were rescued.

The state-run Anatolia says three of the people on board were Russians.
