Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko has accused the participants in a tender for the sale of Odesa Port-Side Plant of colluding in order to cut its price.
“Now, it was seen live on television how these was collusion between
three participants of the tender to buy Odesa Port-Side Plant for
nothing,” she said, speaking at a meeting with entrepreneurs working on
the Ukrainian markets.
The premier said that as the tender was not an example of transparency, the tender commission did not recognize its results.
Tymoshenko said that she would not allow privatization based on corruption and for an undervalued price.
