Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has said that expenses of rural and town budgets in 2010 would stand at Hr 11.2 billion, according to a draft bill on the national budget for 2010.

She gave the information at a constituent congress
of the All-Ukraine association of village and town councils held in
Kyiv on Saturday.

“The next budget of 2010 would account for 12,032
[local] budgets and they all would be planned under requirements…
expenses of rural and town budgets would grow by 68.5%, to UAH 11.2
billion,” she said.
