Ukraine's presidential hopeful Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said on Feb. 3 she had invited envoys of the G8 nations to discuss changes in electoral rules which she says pave the way for vote-rigging by her opponent.

"I have invited the G8 ambassadors, and tomorrow I will invite the ambassadors of all the countries in the world … to inform them that as soon as this law passed by parliament is signed, there will no longer be an election in Ukraine…," she said in televised comments.
