Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) inspectors are to come to Kyiv on October 15 and 16 to check the readiness of Euro 2012 European Football Championship facilities in Ukraine, the Information Center Ukraine 2012 reported on Tuesday.

According to deputy director of the Euro 2012 Tournament in Ukraine
Ivan Fedorenko, UEFA experts will inspect Ukraine’s stadiums on October
15, and its airports on October 26.

“I have no doubts that the Euro 2012 final will take place in Kyiv.
However, we have to convince UEFA of this, as a lot of work has indeed
been done over this period,” Fedorenko said.

He noted that on November 23, the UEFA Supervisory Board would make
public their report on the Ukrainian cities’ readiness to host the
championship. On December 10-11, the UEFA Executive Committee will pass
a final decision on which Ukrainian cities will stage Euro 2012 events.
